Trattoria Amici in Leipzig

A trattoria is per se a place where simple dishes are prepared. In the Trattoria Amici, dishes are simply excellently prepared. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Should I be in Leipzig again, I would be happy anytime again.

Great atmosphere and sensational stone oven pizzas. Always happy to be there for a great evening. I can recommend it to everyone who lives in Leipzig and is visiting here.

Best Italian in Leipzig! Very tasty food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Pizza can also be ordered to take away. I always enjoy going there.

We were here for the first time and absolutely loved it. Service is very important in this restaurant. We thank all employees for this successful stay and we are sure to visit this excellent restaurant several times!

Some dishes on the menu were no longer available. Unfortunately .. it was only ham with melon .. but it was good

Unfortunately, we could only stop by once because we were passing through, because the food was phenomenal! Each of us had completely different dishes (pizza, noodles and steak) and everyone enjoyed it! Staff was super friendly too. If I'm in Leipzig again, I'll be happy to come back!

Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. We had pasta and it tasted rushed, like the ingredients had hardly touched the pan, the meat was mixed, some well cooked pieces with some extremely overcooked. We had a delicious chianti wine, but wouldn't go back due to the pasta course

We had different starters and then the main courses. Excellent quality. Everything was delicious and the desserts were awesome. If we weren't in the restaurant, I would have licked the plates. You know this from home, if it tastes incredible, the plate will be licked blank I can highly recommend it to everyone who loves great food. greetings Holger

This restaurant is highly recommended! Came without a reservation because we had just arrived in Leipzig and still got a table. Super nice young waiter who really enjoys his work. The food came very quickly and was super tasty. Price-performance ratio is right! Sitting on the terrace is very cozy ... The "blue rain" helps ?

Nice restaurant with great ambience. The pizza was delicious and huge. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Everything was clean and tidy. Even without a reservation we could get a table.

We ate a T-Bonesteak with rosemary potatoes and spinach as well as black noodle in curry mustard sauce and salmon. The taste of both dishes was very good. Our daughter got a portion of Bolognese. Great implementation and friendly service. The only criticism is the non-existent steak cutlery. Everything else great!

Rude staff, if you aren't wilyl dressed you can't eat here

Several problems. Our waiter didn't speak English. Which in itself is not a crime, but when asked whether we could move some tables, so that our party could sit and talk more comfortably - he didn't smile, he didn't ask for help - he went into a rather threatening "verboten" mode. I had a "calamari" - a single, rubbery and lukewarm piece of disappointment, and entrecote - should have been "medium", was undercooked and for some mysterious reason, torn into several pieces. Two little redeeming glitters of hope - the panna cotta was good and the pizza looked tasty.

Very friendly staff but the food and service terrible! Everything overpriced! Pizza was burnt and came after an hour.

personally think it's the best Italian restaurant in leipzig :) really nice service and very italian style food ( of course really tasty )! the house wine is really good also ! and the place is really cozy ! love it !

Amazing restaurant, have been there many times. Delicious food and nice environment. Good option for lunch or a proper official dinner.

The equivalent of the sentence "don't look on it from the outside but from the inside". It looks nice, though the lights are too bright, and there was no music in the background which kind of gave the feeling that you get when you go to a cemetery. The staff was nice, we arrived there on 20:45, we ordered 2 entries, and at 21:09 we got the last call for pasta and meat. I dont appreciate them taking my order for an overpriced Carpaccio, then telling us "sorry guys, but the kitchen is closed now" at 21:11!!!! After that experience, Carpaccio came (only one, after we ordered 2), without the drinks that we ordered and it was BAD... If you want to treat your dog to a fancy place, this is the one you're looking for. Napkins were not brought to us until middle of our dogfood experience, and at the end, when "pizza" came, waiter said "nummero dos" in spanish instead of italian. It's not that it's the waiters fault. I guess the owner thinks that if the overpriced dogfood will be expensive, he might cover all expenses just with people coming only first time. I went out, hungry, angry and insulted for the entire experience. Don't waist your good money on that very bad place.

The atmosphere is very appealing at this place and the design of the restaurant is carefully chosen. But if you come here for the food, you wouldn't feel the authentic, traditional kitchen you're used to. I went there with my girlfriend and it started out with the waiter who didn't light our candle on the table, forgot to bring us drinks we ordered, the napkins were missing until we asked for them, they just brought one of our two entries, they closed down the kitchen at 21:00h for pasta and meat, they didn't even play music in the background and the waiter who brought us the meals was at least trying to be authentic but he should rather have used his Spanish in a Spanish or Latin restaurant. We had regular carpaccio and a pizza Quattro staggioni. The carpaccio from Edeka tastes better and the pizza was neither thin and crispy nor as tasty as you would expect them to be from a decent Italian restaurant like we thought this would be. After all, we would have accepted the overpriced meals, if they were worthy. I hope that they use this feedback to improve their service as the restaurant really looks awesome and I would love to come back if I know they would do much better the next time and serve me the Italian food that would actually deserve the label Italian in an attentive, Italian spirit of hospitality.

Came for a quick lunch of pizza followed by espresso, both were delicious. We sat out on their nice patio and enjoyed the lovely warm October day. Service was fast and attentive, food was delicious (and the pasta dishes I glimpsed going by also looked very good), outdoor setting was relaxing... excellent place. Inside looked a bit fancier. Highly recommend this place when you’re tired of schnitzel! :)

Tasty pizza and panna cotta.

A bit away from busy tourist area. Good bread and olive oil but the pastas we ordered did mot live up to the rating for them (4.5). As my wife commented that my daughter could do better than them.
